Engr. Inyang, expressed however sadness over the demise of his sister, Mrs. Patience Umo Eno, the departed First Lady of Akwa Ibom State, whom he described as the architect of his aspirations.

He promised to complete the projects initiated by the outgone administration and solicited support of Mkpat Enin sons and daughters for success of his administration.

In her valedictory speech, Lady Mrs. Mercy Bassey, the outgone Transition Committee Chairman, expressed her gratitude to God for sustaining her throughout her 10-month tenure.

She thanked Governor Umo Eno, for the privilege of serving Mkpat Enin, affirming that she led with a clear conscience.

House of Assembly Member for Mkpat Enin, Hon. Uwem Imo-Ita extended gratitude to the outgone Transition Committee and implored him to address security challenges within the area.
