HON. (ENGR.) EMMANUEL INYANG TOOK OPERATION “LIGHT-UP MKPAT ENIN” TO IKOT OYORO COMMUNITY
In his bid to power Mkpat Enin and in line with his Operation “Light Up Mkpat Enin”, the Executive Chairman of Mkpat Enin Local Government Area, Hon. (Engr.) Emmanuel Inyang, today presented a brand-new 300KVA transformer to the people of Ikot Oyoro Community, Mkpat Enin.
Speaking during the official presentation, Hon. (Engr.) Emmanuel Inyang thanked God for the grace to fulfill his promise and expressed gratitude to the people of Ikot Oyoro for their patience and warm reception.
The council boss recalled that Operation “Light Up Mkpat Enin” was one of the central items in his Emmancipation Blueprint and campaign promises, highlighting earlier electrification projects at Ikot Akpan Ukam and Ibiaku Esa Ekpo.
He emphasized that today’s intervention at Ikot Oyoro marks another fulfillment of that agenda and a clear demonstration of his determination to power communities across the area.
Hon. Inyang assured immediate installation of the brand-new 300KVA transformer and pledged to extend the initiative to other villages.
He reiterated his commitment to community service, stressing that more projects await commissioning before his first year in office.
In his goodwill message, the Village Head of Ikot Oyoro, Eteidung Sylvester Akpan Inyang, expressed deep gratitude to the Executive Chairman for fulfilling his campaign promises.
He noted that the community had suffered over five years of blackout and described the gesture as historic. He prayed God’s blessings upon the Chairman and his administration.
Also in their goodwill messages, the Councillor representing Ikpa Ibom Ward 3, Hon. Glory Moses Ukpong, the Supervisor for Works, Hon. Ikkanke Stephen, and the Supervisor for Information, Hon. Etete Cletus, commended the outstanding performance of the Chairman. They prayed for God’s wisdom and guidance to enable him achieve greater success in office.
Present at the event were the Vice Chairman of Council, Hon. (Mrs.) Owoidoho Inyangetuk; Leader of the Legislative Council, Hon. Nyakno Ekpo; Secretary of Council, Hon. Aniedi Ekanem; Director of Works, Engr. Iniobong Archibong, Councillors, Supervisors, and other distinguished personalities.
