MKPAT ENIN CHAIRMAN MARKS ONE YEAR IN OFFICE, PLEDGES GREATER ECONOMIC, INFRASTRUCTURAL GROWTH
Activities marking the one year anniversary of the Chairman of Mkpat Enin Local Government of Akwa Ibom State, Hon. (Engr.) Emmanuel Inyang, began today with a Solemn Assembly at the Unity Hall, Mkpat Enin.
At the service, Engr. reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to advancing economic growth and accelerating infrastructural development across the local government area.
He expressed gratitude to God for His sustaining grace and noted that the month of October marks exactly one year since he assumed office as Chairman of Mkpat Enin Local Government.
He also extended appreciation to Pastor Umo Eno, Governor of Akwa Ibom State, for his fatherly guidance and mentorship, which, he said, have greatly shaped his leadership style and strengthened his resolve to serve the people diligently.
According to Hon. Inyang, “We have been building structures, grading roads, providing electricity, water, and more. But as we mark my one year in office, we will take a step further by empowering and investing in our people.”
Delivering the sermon on the theme “Greater Glory,” Evangelist Ebong Eno of All Nations Christian Ministry drew his text from Haggai 2:9, emphasizing God’s promise of divine restoration, progress and transformation.
He assured the congregation that “God is not done with you yet,” adding that the future God is preparing carries a greater manifestation of His presence, favor, and peace than ever experienced before.
The highlight of the solemn assembly was a special thanksgiving and intercessory prayer session for Hon. (Engr.) Emmanuel Inyang and his administration, seeking God’s continued wisdom, protection, and guidance in steering the affairs of Mkpat Enin Local Government.
