MKPAT ENIN CHAIRMAN DEDICATES SON TO GOD IN EKET
The Executive Chairman of Mkpat Enin Local Government Area, Hon. (Engr.) Emmanuel Inyang and his wife, Mrs. Edidiong Inyang, on Sunday presented their son, Edikan, to God in a solemn dedication service held at All Nations Christian Ministry International, Eket.
The service, filled with heartfelt prayers and thanksgiving, drew family members, friends, community leaders, and dignitaries who gathered to celebrate with the Inyang family.
Among the prominent personalities was the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno, who joined other guests to honour the Chairman and his family on the special occasion.
Hon. Emmanuel Inyang, accompanied by his wife, expressed gratitude to God for the gift of their son and for sustaining their family.
The dedication, he noted, signifies their commitment to raising their child in the fear and knowledge of God.
In a brief admonition, the Governor encouraged parents including the Chairman and his wife to embrace intentional parenting and ensure that children are raised with values that strengthen both the family and the society.
Delivering a sermon on the topic “Divine Visitation,” with scriptural reference from Luke 1:64, the Presiding Pastor, Pastor Ndaeyo Udomfuk, described child dedication as an act of acknowledging God’s intervention in the life of a family.
He stressed that divine visitation brings joy, celebration, and new beginnings, urging Christians to honour God in seasons of blessing.
Following the church service, guests and well-wishers were hosted to a warm reception at Eket City Hall, where the atmosphere was filled with celebration and goodwill messages for the Inyang family.
The event marked a significant moment for the Chairman, whose leadership in Mkpat Enin has continued to attract goodwill and admiration from the people.
