APC WARD CONGRESS: MKPAT ENIN CHAIRMAN APPLAUDS PEACEFUL CONDUCT

The Executive Chairman of Mkpat Enin Local Government, Engr. Emmanuel Inyang, has commended members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ikpa Ibom Ward 1 for the peaceful conduct of their ward congress, describing the exercise as a demonstration of unity and party discipline.

Engr. Inyang spoke on Wednesday while joining political stakeholders and party faithful at the Ward Centre in Ikot Obio Itong for the APC Ward Congress.

Addressing members, the council chairman described the orderly and rancour-free process as evidence of cohesion and maturity within the ward, noting that such unity would strengthen the party’s structure at the grassroots.

He also praised the leadership of Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, commending his commitment to grassroots development, inclusive governance, and people-oriented policies. According to Inyang, the governor’s leadership has fostered political stability and inspired confidence across the state.

Reaffirming the collective resolve of party members, the chairman urged the newly elected ward executives to remain focused and dedicated to consolidating the gains of the APC in the area.

In his remarks, former House of Assembly, Hon. Otobong Ndem expressed satisfaction with the level of coordination displayed during the congress and commended the council chairman for his leadership and support.

He encouraged members to sustain the prevailing peace and intensify mobilization efforts ahead of future elections.

Also speaking, the Returning Officer, Mr. Michael Osalade, and the Councillor representing Ikpa Ibom Ward 1, Hon. Idongesit Ayara, appreciated members for ensuring a transparent and hitch-free process, describing the congress as strategic in repositioning the ward for greater electoral success.
