The Executive Chairman of Mkpat Enin Local Government Area, Engr. Emmanuel Inyang, has lauded the power of skill acquisition and resilience as critical tools for youth empowerment and community growth, during the graduation/exhibition ceremony of Cohort 002 trainees at the DAKKADA Skill Acquisition Center.
The ceremony, held in the presence of the State Deputy Governor, Senator Akon Eyakenyi showcased the achievements of young people who have completed six months of intensive training designed to equip them with life-changing skills for economic self-reliance.
Addressing the graduands from Mkpat Enin, Engr. Inyang expressed gratitude for the opportunity to witness the event, describing it as a moment of pride and inspiration.
“The knowledge and skills you have acquired are more than enough to make you great if you remain focused, disciplined, and determined to succeed,” he told the trainees, urging them to explore every available opportunity in their communities and beyond.
He further commended the graduands for their resilience, commitment, and endurance, noting that only those who approached the training seriously would be positioned to seize the vast opportunities that await skilled and determined youth.
The Chairman’s presence at the event underscores his dedication to youth empowerment, local economic growth, and sustainable development initiatives in Mkpat Enin.
By supporting programmes like the DAKKADA Skill Acquisition Center, Engr. Inyang has reinforced the vision of a community where young people are equipped to transform their futures and contribute meaningfully to society.
The graduation ceremony also featured exhibitions of the trainees’ skills, highlighting the breadth of talents acquired over the six-month programme, from technical trades to creative arts, signaling a new era of self-reliant and empowered youth in the Local Government Area.
Engr. Inyang’s message was clear: skill, resilience, and determination remain the most reliable paths to economic independence and community development.
