
The Executive Chairman of Mkpat Enin Local Government of Akwa Ibom State, Engr. Emmanuel Inyang on Saturday led political stakeholders to the APC Home-Going Meeting, in full compliance with the directive of the State Leader of the Party, Governor Umo Eno.
The well-attended event, held at the Council Secretariat, Mkpat Enin, drew together party leaders, youths, women and community stakeholders in a powerful demonstration of unity, loyalty and renewed commitment to the APC.
In his address, Engr. Inyang hailed Governor Umo Eno as “the great unifier”, whose visionary leadership has accelerated development across the State, affirming his unwavering loyalty to him, emphasizing the importance of the ongoing APC revalidation and registration exercise, urging all members to actively participate.
He declared unequivocally that “Mkpat Enin is APC,” stressing the local government’s complete alignment with the governor’s political direction.
A prominent son of Mkpat Enin and Senator representing Akwa Ibom South Senatorial District, Senator Ekong Sampson harped on unity, discipline and loyalty and pledged support for strengthening APC structures at the grassroots, including assisting in the building of party Secretariat in Mkpat Enin to deepen the party’s presence in the area.
Also speaking, member representing Mkpat Enin in the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Uwem Peter Imo-Ita, declared absolute loyalty to the Governor and assured that Mkpat Enin will deliver 100% votes in the 2027 elections.
Another illustrious son of Mkpat Enin and Commissioner for Works and Fire Service, Prof. Eno Ibanga pledged total support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Senate President, Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio and Governor Umo Eno, stating that Mkpat Enin remains firmly aligned with APC as the centre of national politics.
APC State Chairman, Obong Stephen Ntukekpo announced that the APC revalidation, party registration and voter registration exercises are fully active, urging eligible residents to secure overwhelming electoral success.
Other stakeholders including Vice Chairman of the Local Government, Mrs. Owoidoho Inyangetuk; Federal Board Member, Rachael Kufre Nse; Chairman, Akwa Ibom Assets Management Agency, Akparawa Udo Sam Umoatan; Mkpat Enin Chapter Chairman of APC, Hon. Utitofon Jeremiah, former Transition Committee Chairman, Hon. Lady Ekaette Usip; former House Member, Hon. Otobong Ndem and Youth Council Chairman, Comrade Umoetuk Umoetuk, praised Engr. Emmanuel Inyang for his leadership sagacity and reiterated that APC remains the dominant political force in Mkpat Enin and predicted a resounding victory for the party in 2027 general elections.
