The Executive Chairman of Mkpat Enin Local Government Area, Hon. (Engr.) Emmanuel Inyang, joined political stakeholders across the area for the All Progressives Congress (APC) Local Government Chapter Congress.

‎The congress, which was held yesterday 21st February, 2026, at the APC Secretariat in Mkpat Enin, witnessed a peaceful and orderly congress, reflecting the unity and maturity of party members in the area.
‎
‎In his brief remarks, Engr. Inyang expressed appreciation to His Excellency, Governor Umo Eno, for his commitment to grassroots engagement and inclusive leadership. He commended party stakeholders for their coordination and peaceful disposition throughout the exercise.
‎
‎He reiterated that Governor Umo Eno remains the leader of the party in Akwa Ibom State and affirmed that Mkpat Enin has declared its unwavering support and loyalty to his leadership and vision for the state.
‎
‎Engr. Emmanuel Inyang noted that his presence at the congress was to monitor the process, lend credibility to its outcome, and ensure that all proceedings at the Local Government Chapter strictly complied with the party’s constitution and guidelines.

‎Also present at the congress were the Commissioner for Works and Fire Service, Prof. Eno Ibanga; the Member representing Mkpat Enin State Constituency, Rt. Hon. Uwem Imo-Ita; and the APC State Chairman, Obong Stephen Ntukekpo, among other party leaders and stakeholders.
